On the 2026-27 academic job market.
My research applies quantitative methods to explore questions at the intersection of political economy, economic development, and economic history. I also collaborate with academics, policymakers, and international organizations on development issues, with a focus on agricultural economics.
In the academic year 2024-25, I visited the Vancouver School of Economics (UBC), hosted by Claudio Ferraz. Prior to joining PSE, I completed my MSc at the Barcelona School of Economics. I worked as a Research fellow at the Institute of Political Economy & Governance (IPEG) at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona (Spain) and as Assistant Researcher at the Group for the Analysis of Development (GRADE) in Lima (Peru).
